Haru Haru Wonder Black Rice Line Review

 

 

 

Few months ago, I got a an email from Style Korean to do a skincare review for the brand Haru Haru Wonder. This line is something new for me because, the main ingredients of this line is basically a "Fermented Black Rice". Imagine, just by hearing the word "Black Rice" you can tell that this products are very healthy for the skin.

 

I've been trying Korean Skincare for a very long time now and I admit that their products are extremely well and as my dermatologist recommended, that Korean Skincare is actually really perfect for Asians.

 

Haru Haru Wonder Black Rice Line

So, Style Korean sent me 3 products from the Black Rice Line and these are (Soft Peeling Gel, Toner and the Facial Oil). 

Haru Haru Wonder Black Rice Hyaluronic Toner

Among all of the products that are included in the PR Package this is my favorite. This toner is  watery high concentration essence type of toner that improves skin texture and optimizes other skincare products to penetrate the skin deeply.

 

Packaging 

Honestly, I was really shocked when I saw the toner size. I mean the first word the come out in my mouth was "HUGE". This toner contains 300ml of product and would last 6 months upon opening

 

Ingredients

Again, the first key ingredients of this toner are the Fermented Black Rice which is an anti-oxidant other key ingredients are the Phyllostachys Pubescens Shoot Bark Extracts that conditions the skin, even- up tone and has brightening effect. Lastly, my favorite ingredient is the "Hyaluronic Acid". I have been using these ingredients for a very long time now and hyaluronic acid is good for reducing the appearance of fine line and wrinkles and it is also good in speeding wound healing. If you have experience micro needling, hyaluronic acid, is one of the products that a dermatologist would recommend.

 

Texture

As I have mentioned earlier, this toning is a watery high concentration essence type of toner.

 

Finish and Application

To apply this toner, gently rub it to the palm just to warm it up and apply it in patting motion. The toner gives me a satiny moisturize finish skin, smooth and fresh, cooling effect with fast absorbing. I used to apply this toner after cleansing my face with the Haru Haru Wonder Soft Peeling Gel.

 

 

Haru Haru Wonder Black Rice Soft Peeling Gel

It was actually my first time to try a peeling gel that does not peel off like a mask, but instead it is a kind of Exfoliator that doesn't have any granules in it and it does remove the dead skin cells on the skin and unclog the pores.

 

 

Packaging 

The product is in a gradient violet tube container that resembles the color of the "Black Rice". This soft, peeling gel contains 100ml of product and would last 6 months upon opening.

 

Ingredients

Again, the first key ingredients of this toner are the Fermented Black Rice or "Oryza Sativa" which is an anti-oxidant that produce the skin from free radicals and the Phyllostachys Pubescens Shoot Bark Extracts.

 

Texture

A gel type of Exfoliator that feels like a silicon (primer).

 

Finish and Application

Apply the soft, peeling gel on the face and leave it for 5 mins and gently rub to remove the dead skin cells. It doesn't give any tagging effect when the gel complete dries out, but instead it gives a smooth baby skin finish.

Haru Haru Wonder Black Rice Facial Oil 

One thing that I love about this facial oil is that, this doesn't make your skin oily. Instead, it controls the sebum on my face and give me a moisturize skin.

Packaging 

The facial oil is in bottled container with a dropper like any other facial oil brands. It contains 30 ml or 1.0fl.oz of product and would last 6 months upon opening.

 

Ingredients

The first key ingredients of this facial oil are also the "Fermented Black Rice Bran Oil" and "Sunflower Oil" which protects the skin layer and lastly, the sweet almond oil for elastic skin.

 

Texture

Runny facial oil.

 

Finish and Application

Apply this after toner, this gives me a moisturize dewy skin, but doesn't look oily.
