The Faceshop Miracle Finish BB Cushions Review

 

 

 

Nowadays, the FaceShop is one of the Korean makeup and skincare brand has been a hype for the past few years in The Philippines. I really can't deny, that I am a big fan of Korean cosmetics. Reason, their dewy skin, their glass skin and that glowing, healthy skin are something all of the Asians want to achieve. If  Koreans love to take good care of their skin, then, I think we should do the same. 

One of the best things that the Koreans ever created are the cushion foundation and bb cushions. Why? it is an all-in-one beauty product that is very convenient to carry wherever you go. BB cushions are basically a BB cream in a compact container. Although, BB cushions is a bit pricey compare to BB creams, you can reuse the compact container by removing the refill and install a new one.

 

The Faceshop Miracle Finish BB Cushions

The cushions  have 2 collections (white and black). The white collections have three types of cushion formula and these are Oil Control Water Cushion, CC Intense Water Cushion and the CC Ultra Moist Cushion. While, the Black Collections have BB Power Perfection Cushion, CC Long Lasting and CC Cooling Cushion.

 

 

The Packaging

Both White and Black Collections are in a compact container with a detachable refill. The cushion contains 15g/0.52 oz product and would last 12 months upon opening. The compact container looks very elegant, especially the Black Collection with a black and gold combination. While the white collection is a combination of white and gold. The cushion comes with a mirror and an anti-bacterial blue sponge.

Miracle Finish Shade Range

The Faceshop Miracle Finish BB Cushion has 3 shade range. The first one is the "Cool" or  Pink Base tone range in which the shade starts with letter "C" eg. "C203". The second one is the "Neutral" tone which is a mix of warm and cool undertones. The shade range or the neutral tone starts with a letter "NW" eg. "NW205". Lastly, the "Yellow Base" tone  and shade range start with a letter "V" eg. "V102, V201, V203, V205, V207".

I actually got BB Power, Perfection Cushion in the shade V203 and a refill of oil control water cushion all in the shade of V203. 

 

Price

This BB Cushion cost me PHP 1600, I know it is a bit pricey. Just so you know guys that when I bought the BB Cushion for PHP 1600 it doesn't come with a refill. So, I spend another just 1200 for 2 refills.

 

Application, Coverage & Formula

The BB Power Perfection Cushion is slightly watery. It does cover the dark spots on my face, brightens and gives a moisturize skin. One thing that I noticed is that this BB Cushion does creases on the eye area even with or without a primer. The only difference when you applied a primer is that, it adds smoothing effect on the skin.  I suggest you moisturize your face if you are gonna use this BB Cushion otherwise it will emphasize the dryness of your face. This cushion is very light wearing, like you don't feel like you are wearing a BB Cream or a foundation. I also love that this BB Cushion has a mild scent which is something I am looking for a cosmetics.

The Faceshop Miracle Finish BB Power Perfection Cushion is a cushion that has power coverage, power moisturizing, and power perfection BB Cushion. 

The Miracle Finish Oil Control Water Cushion is a cushion that has moist cover, fresh and a long lasting type of cushion.

 

 

Final Thoughts

I do love that even this BB Cushion as a medium coverage, it does really cover the dark spots on my face. It also brightens my skin and give me a Korean glow that I am looking for.  Very light wearing BB Cushion with a mild scent. Even though, these creases on the eye area, I still going to re-purchase this as this cover dark spots and very light wearing.
